This is a story about several types of pain. If you know the story of wizard of Oz you know this book can't end well. It made me sad, devastated even, made me question my existence. At times the book could be boring. A lot of mysteries were left unsolved. Characters/items/places that you spend several chapter getting to know just disappeared and some you didn't get any time with suddenly became important. It was well written but I wished that it didn't jump so fast in time even missing character development that would be important. A plus is that it has a healthy poly relationship in it which made me happy. I think that's the only thing in this book at made me smile. It's a wonderful story but confused at times. I recommend it but I'll never read it again. It hear the musical has a happy ending so maybe that's more for me. That being said: this book is really good
