Fantasy & SciFi
In the early twenty-second century, humanity has spread through the solar system-and their electromagnetic signals have traveled hundreds of light years. An alien race called the Oghaldzon has decided that mankind is dangerously insane…and must be forcibly taken under control.
The invasion fleet's technology is decades ahead of Earth's best. They have more ships than the human fleets combined, and a seemingly inexhaustible number of ground troops. And they're not afraid to kill billions of people.
Humanity is outnumbered, outgunned, and divided. But they have a few cards left to play-and they're not going down without a fight.

This book was a bit splintered in it's frameset.. a lot of things stapled on each other in a fast turmoil of info... and a loong finish about later on... book carried by Jeffrey who is on top as usual...

A LOT of standardized chestthumping with the author fixated on how amazing and superior humans are (especially the American military) compared to everyone else. The characters are flat and easily forgotten (could also be because the narrator makes nearly all make characters sound the same.) as well as incredibly flat. The author makes the standard mistake of making the antagonist behave like idiots when push comes to shove (there’s a few wierd attempts by the plot to explain why the antagonists seems lobotomized when it comes to warfare.)I wish I could have enjoyed the book and the plot more than I did, but both the writing and the brutal beating of what could have been an interesting plot made sure that was impossible. In closing - the author loves to use nukes in the plot (human nukes being superior despite the antagonists being advanced enough to travel between the stars) so much that it becomes great comedy.1 out of We ran out of Nukes!
