It’s not really enemies to lovers, it’s more like people from different backgrounds who meet by way of happenstance and are forced together by circumstances. They fall into intimacy rather quickly and it feels more like “oh.. okay then” rather than a burning desire or the buildup to will they fight or fuck, which is a big part in the enemy to lovers thrope. Everything feels a bit shallow and young. Probably because of the writing. The world build is weak, you get no information about the world/characters and so forth. Feels like you just opened the book to a random Paige and start to read. And 3 hours in nothing has really happened more than male 2 is mooning over male 1 in “secret” and male 1 is the silent scared type And why do the author referring to them as “the vampire” and “the saint”More editing and re writing and it could be a good book. But as is, it’s a Na for me.
