DO NOT RECOMMEND. I've listened to a lot of mc-books lately and most of them have more or less shitty attitudes towards women but this book takes the cake. I honestly couldn't even listen to all of it, when the lead female character gets angry at a domestic abuse victim for no good reason I just couldn't finish it. It features a lot of violence towards women and it's written in a way that excuses and rationalizes the behavior because the women are "whores" and therefor deserves to be yelled at, insulted, threatened and manhandled.

Yeah, this book was not for me. No action at all, since the H/h are out of town for all the interesting stuff and as far as the romance is concerned, the sex scenes with random strangers were hotter than any scene between Tripp and Doll. It's embarrassing what a pathetic loser she is. He screws around and even IN FRONT of her and yet she's constantly chasing him. He gets all self-righteous & angry & says he "doesn't share" when another guy hits on her, and yet it's perfectly ok with him to SCREW another woman in front of her.

Nope, female voice is one of the worst.
