Boken är skriven på ett sätt i vilket den utmanar läsaren att se historian från ett svårt perspektiv. Den lyfter många svåra teman men är ändå svår att dra sig ifrån.

Tycker der är intressant att läsa böcker från synsätt man inte är van vid. I detta fall en medelålders korean i Korea. Gillar böcker som det inte behöver hända så mycket för att det ändå, ska hända mycket!
