A book that ought not to have been written. Full cruelty, deceit and foolishness that meets valour, flares of hope, and nobility - and wins. No doubt Professor Lewis found the vista of the eternal life he portrays as he dismantled Narnia to be uplifting… But I have never found it satisfactory. Beautifully read!
